Kits for a (great) Cause!

In the past few weeks, the digi scrap community has experienced loss.  It suprises me still that no matter how competitive the industry is, we can put our personal goals aside to help one anothet when the need arises.  I wanted to show case a couple of kits created by a dear friend of mine, Tracy King, for two special ladies in the community.

Cradled by Tracy is her sincerest wish for Carla Gibson's family.  Carla passed away suddenly after being stricken by a stroke, and has been a valued and daer member of the community.  Knowing that in their time of sadness, a gentle hug or kind word can make all the difference.  Cradled is on sale at OScraps for $5.00 with all proceeds going to Carla Gibson's family.

Beacause You Are My Friend, is to help defray medical costs for Carol Roberts, who is also a fellow designer and friend of Tracy's.  Carol's husband passed way from esophogeal cancer and unfortunately their insurance company, Encompass has determined that they will not pay for any of his hospitalization costs stating that it was not "necessary" (Don't get me started on this subject - I do insurance billing for a living and I know what a racket it is..)  This beautiful piece is on sale at DigiScrapDesigner for $4.99 and all proceeds from this product go to Carol to assist her in defraying medical costs.
